I took a trip to San Antonio without brook : ( for a little over a week to visit my family and see a few friends. Of course its crazy hot here every day, as soon as you step out soon the sun is beaming dry heat on your face. This is a pic of sunday after going to church and out to brunch. I loved this dress when i first saw it, it reminds me of a sailor dress because of the bib around the neck and the color.

Ill be reuniting back with brook after the weekend, hope you guys have a good one!

21!!! is a age that comes with a lot of meaning, once you turn 18 becoming 21 is the birthday you look forward to for the next three years. This is a big deal to pretty much everybody, you have a feeling of independence, being totally legal and just gives you a reason to wild out a little bit. So of course since brook was FINALLY turning 21 (on the 16th) after all of her friends we had to do it big and be crazy the whole weekend. I just got this bag a little over a week ago and thought i would share with you guys. We are going to start doing a post once a week about what we consider to be a incredible buy. Whether its due to its price, quality or something we just adore and think you should run out and get one for your self lol....

But anyways I bought this bag at TJ MAXX. Its perfect for students or a career women. It has many compartments and is pretty big and spacious....plus it comes with a makeup bag, wallet and a laptop case and ALL of this was ONLY 19.99!!!! i know crazy right but anyways it comes in the three other colors and seems pretty durable. I love it!

One usual day after class/work we met up at our apartment to head out for dinner and to look for brooks razzle me dazzle birthday dress which we are yet to find lol we decided to stop in the parking lot to snap a few shots and play around with brooks camera she has to use for one of her journalism classes. We came out with a few great pics and made us realize we need a camera upgrade 

but any who brooks birthday weekend is next week so we will definitely be capturing it all and what we wear...hope you have a great weekend loves!

Who doesn't love a little back action? I am in love with this trend, in every way shape and form. And you can get them for a GREAT price ( all of these dresses under $30). I was first introduced to a little "back action" when through Urban Outfitters; they always have the most adorable dresses that gives a little peak and the last time I was there i saw plenty of similar dresses with these same three details. A open back that ties, some that have an opening with a snap to bring the dress together, as well as sheer or croched areas in the back that looks amazing on the bare skin. Unfortunately it is hard for me to shop at Urban Outfitters and other stores as such because the items are on the more expensive side, usually starting around $50-$60 and with my paycheck I would only be able to get one or two things. Sometimes its good to splurge on myself, but I'd rather get more bag for my buck. There are plenty of places you can get clothes that resemble the ones at these stores, not just the dresses. Therefore, I was jumping for joy when I found all of these dresses for under $30. 1) I love this one..the "tribal" inspired print & the bow in the back is stunning! I got this one at TJ Maxx for $14.99. 2) When I was at work i fell in LOOOOVE the back was out and the front is adorable. The two different textures, silky at the bottom and denim material at the top gives it a chic edge. 3) When I wear this one I look like I stepped off the set of Little House on the Prairie lol, but I love it! It's flowy and the white on my bare back.. I can't get enough of. The last 2 cost $29.99 at Charlotte Russe. Anyways with all my rambling I just wanted to share with you guys these awesome finds and encourage you to look hard for things that are affordable for your shopping budget :)

Yesterday we wound up wearing the same color scheme.. which further leads me to believe that we were meant to be twins, our parents just messed it up for us. Any-who, we were out yesterday with our roommate running errands which included selling some of the clothes we no longer wear to Plato's Closet and the trip somehow lead us to a sushi spot in town :). Soooooooo my 21st birthday is coming up next month (Brooklynn) and I plan on partying all weekend. Lol. I've been waiting for this day since last year when all of my friends turned 21 and started going to the bars in our college town instead of the parties (the only place I was able to get into), so it is long over due for me. My birthday happens to fall on a thursday this year which is perfect because we can start the celebration at a bar everyone goes to for Thirsty Thursday's. I'm hoping to go out in downtown Indianapolis or Chicago during the actual weekend but I need for find party dresses for the events, right?... Yes, I thought so too! So in my online browsing I ran into this dress less than 10 min ago and I love love love it! I think it will be perfect for me to wear for the bars in Bloomington for my actual birthday because it's a casual environment and of course I want to stand out, I'm the birthday girl. But 2 problems arise in choosing this dress to be my debut into the amazing world of complete legalization; the first being the dress is black... :( my birthday is smack-dabe in the middle of June I'd like to wear gorgeous bright colors annnnd the second is I'm questioning if I should order it when the smallest size is a small and I wear an x-small :/. But it's worth the risk, right? Feedback ladies..& gents please, I need your help! :)
