For a while me and brook have mentioning that we are doing a whole wardrobe upgrade. We both want to change our wardrobe to embodied our new style and look we want to go towards as we are changing along with the new direction of fashion. We are looking to both to add more pieces to our closet that we can wear as everyday casual attire, a lot more dresses, vintage pieces, as well as stepping our accessory game up. So above are pics are a few pics brook took earlier of things she recently bought to update her wardrobe for our summer upgrade plan.

Also I know i was suppose to post pictures today of the outfit i wore this past weekend to the all white party but I discovered that i left my cord to import my pictures on my computer back in indiana : ( sad i know, so im going to have to go and buy one as soon as possible. Hopefully brook can send me mine soon or i can find one for my camera. But i still will be doing post!!! So until next time...

UpDate on our lives

Hey ladies!

So after many days of packing, visiting family and catching a flight to texas i (danielle) am finally able to make a post. For the past week everything has been soooo crazy with me and brook. I have been packing my room and things around my apartment so i can get ready to move into a new place for next school year. After i got everything boxed up i went to visit my grandparents in indianapolis for the weekend (and she has NO internet -__-) But while i was there me and brook got to go to an all white party that two of our cousins through. It was so much fun, there was an open bar, catered food and a nice relaxing social event. Me and brook had no white to wear so so jetted to the mall hours before and got the same t-shirt dress to wear but we accessorized differently. Tomorrow i will post pics of the dress we got.

On another note, now that i am finished with my internship which was a interesting experience, i will have more time to post more frequently. Once brook gets to texas we will be doing constant outfits of the day and just different places around San Antonio. So i will have a new post for you guys tomorrow! good night loves

Raiding Grandmas Jewelry Box

A few years ago me and brook both would have laughed if our mom tried to get us to wear anything old or what we considered old fashion. But recently we have discovered that vintage is your best friend!!! We have found that vintage shops and thrift shops are the best place to shop when looking for something new, classic and of good quality.

So the last time we went to our grandmothers house we stubbled upon a box of jewelry in her dresser! We were surprised to find such cute things in her dresser not being worn especially since they weren't in her real jewelry box. So after asking her what would could have we ended up with a pleasing amount of new (but old) to us items.

We fell in love with a few pieces especially the silver coin ring, im really into coin charm jewelry at the moment. Both of us are trying to add more vintage jewelry to our jewelry box. So once we find more lovely pieces we will share them with you all.

Brooks 20th bday!!!

So HAPPY BIRTHDAY to brook!!!

Brook finally is not a teenager anymore!!! She just turned 20 on the 16th of June, so of course we had to celebrate her turning one year closer to 21!!! To bad we are no longer in japan because the big age to turn there is 20, it is the age where you are finally seen as an adult. So for her birthday we went to a sushi bar with a couple of friends to celebrated. We couldnt do much that night or weekend because she had finals for summer classes, but we had fun regardless!!! Since she was the birthday girl, she went all out to look cute including cutting her hair!!! There has been so many birthdays this month, so we have spent a lot of money on gifts and partying lol. But let us know what you think about her hair cut, outfit, and if any of you have june birthdays also.

Currently loving is a new thing we are going to start blogging about. We intend to find new brands, people, styles or inspirations that we are currently loving and let you guys know about them. So anything new we come across, we will share with you guys. Hopefully you love them too, and if you hate them, know more about them or whatever we would love to hear about it.

So BB Dokota is the first brand we are currently loving. I (danielle) found out about them recently once i started interning this summer at a local boutique. We carry a lot of their items as well as their branch off of BB Dokota, Jack BB Dokota geared toward their younger customer.

They define the BB Dokota girl as "Our look is citified prep, Americana with a quirky, feminine twist. The BB Dakota girl is glamorous, sophisticated, intelligent, at times demure, at times sexy, always feminine and always confident."
