lust for spring

Spring!!! Its finally on its way and we have been anticipating it badly! We got a little teaser of warm weather last week when it got up to 70. But is now back down to the 40s, indiana has bipolar weather lol. But since spring is around the corner we wanted to do a post with bright colors and bold patterns to help bring in the season. Hope the weather is warming up and the sun is shinning where you guys are!

Falling ice

In Indiana we expect to see the snow, but nevertheless when it all melts away it comes right back. On our way out today we decided to snap a couple photos of our outfits. Which maybe was not such a good idea due to the fact that it wasn't really snowing this time, it was hailing and freezing unfortunately. lol. This is the reason our eyes were closed in most of the pictures. Hope the weather isn't as bad where you are!

Spring is just around the corner and seeing all the new spring clothes in the store make us want to shop shop shop!!! lol But being a college student and a recent college grad we want our wardrobe to stretch as far as it possibly can! So...before we go spend money we like to look in our closet and see what items we can carry over from the winter into the spring. Hopefully this will allow you all to do the same so that you can spend your money wisely ;-). I am so excited to wear bright clothes!

5, 5 dollar, 5 dollar shoe sale!!!! 

The month of January you can find the best deals, everybody is trying to get rid of everything that did not sale during the holidays so they can bring in their spring collections. So earlier this week when we entered Charlotte Russe we came upon one of the best deals ever, shoes for $5! The two shoes we picked up above were also a bonus because they can transition into the spring season.

On another note, the weekend is here! And we plan on going to an all black party this weekend to start the semester off with a little fun. So we will be posting pictures! Have a good weekend dolls!

January 5; sun shinning and mid 70s, this is what we would call the perfect weather in the middle of the winter. Especially since we were vaca-ing away from the blizzard infested place called indiana. This particular day we were coming in from our dad's retirement ceremony and about to head out to dinner. Well fast forwarding to today and we are back at school where the snow is currently coming down. We just wanted to share a few pics of the sunny past! Hope everyone's weeks are starting off great! Happy New Year!!! It's been a while and a very busy year for both Danielle and myself. We missed Christmas so I hope everyone had a wonderful day and enjoyed the family time and a break from your everyday life, & hopefully Santa brought exactly what you wanted. It's 2011, a brand new year and time for a new...changed, or altered mindset. My New Year's resolution is to be motivated to do better at facing my fear of being in front of people...lol, I'm shy! But....2010 was a great year and I plan to make 2011 even better so I'll seal 2010 with a good 'ol (red) kiss & share some pictures of the end of the year.

BLACK is a beautiful [thang]

Just wanted to share a picture of me and my main lol... Saturday night I stopped by the all black affair put on by the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Congrats to the new members. This weekend was sooo busy for all of us (that's why Danielle's not there) but its never too busy for a little fun. Hope you all had a great weekend! (SORRY for the hint of pink!)
